Cleaning an Occupied Patient Room

Created for Kindred Healthcare. This training was developed from a very long and confusing webinar recording and transitioned into an eLearning module where I edited and modified the original video, built an interactive scenario with a knowledge check, and created a guidebook to support actionable behaviors for the learner to take away.

Simulations are the best option for making learning stick wherever it is possible.

Instructional Design Jeopardy

Jeopardy ID intro.png

Instructional Design is much more than "making something pretty," or putting text into a PowerPoint. This Jeopardy game dives into some of the things many people who are wanting to transfer into the ID field do not know. This option of gamified learning allows for the user to play for points to test their knowledge, while simultaneously learning more about the corporate ID industry. Created with Articulate Storyline (with lots of algorithmic triggers!).

Is Training the Solution?

Is Training the Solution Button.png

There is often a misconception that training will solve for performance issues. When someone requests training we need to determine what the need is for. Is it to upskill a team member's skills? Is it to transfer knowledge? Or could it be to solve for a gap in performance? This module was created to guide those who are uncertain if training can help while providing tools to build and refine goals and objectives.

This condensed module was created with Storyline and the graphics with photoshop.
